In 2019, I closed out a technology leadership journey through Israel and Palestine with a talk at the center of Ramon Crater called "Everything Lives." The idea was simple: the systems we build — in space, in AI, in our infrastructure, or otherwise — only matter because of the living world and the people they serve. It’s natural that everything, one day, comes to an end. But our responsibility is to protect what sustains us in the meantime. Until then, everything lives.

When I founded my consulting practice, Everything Lives LLC, two years later, it was built on this exact philosophy. My entire career has been dedicated to building systems that ensure our endurance. It started in national security research at Raytheon BBN Technologies, where I grew from an intern to a DARPA principal investigator. There, I led programs that protected the U.S. power grid from nation-state cyberattacks and cut grid-recovery planning from days to minutes.

Then I turned to space. At NASA, as the AI subject-matter expert on the Langley Research Center OCIO Data Science Team, I led research in autonomous flight, space radiation biology, spacecraft geomagnetics, and virtual reality for data science — and helped shape the agency's AI ethics thinking. Today, through Everything Lives LLC, I serve as a Senior AI Researcher supporting NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer.

From 2022 to 2024, I moved to Australia to serve as the inaugural Director of Space Programs for the AROSE Consortium, overseeing the Stage 1 design of Australia's first lunar rover concept and founding a national Climate Resilience Working Group. Now based back in Washington, DC, I split my time between NASA research, advising the United Nations on AI for disaster early warnings, teaching and advisory roles on three continents — and consulting engagements with organizations that want their technology decisions grounded in real experience. The throughline in all of it: technology should serve life. Everything lives, or none of it matters.
